KIRIBURU



Kiriburu and Meghahatuburu, deposited in Jharkhand are the most given destinations along Saranda Forest due to the presence of Iron Ore Mines governed by SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited).
Kiriburu and Meghahatuburu, the double hills separated by the borders of the Indian countries of Odisha and Jharkhand are the most underrated and undiscovered places.
Kiriburu hill is located at Kiriburu, a tale megacity in Kendujhar quarter of Odisha and Meghataburu hill is located at Meghataburu, a tale megacity in West Singhbhum quarter of Jharkhand.
The megacity of Kiriburu and Meghataburu are adjoining to each other and are rich in iron-ore. KIOM (Kiriburu Iron-Ore Mine) & MIOM (Meghahatuburu Iron-Ore Mine), both governed by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) are one of the big iron ore mines in the country.
The word‘Kiri’means‘Elephant’and‘Buru’means‘Hill’which rightfully describes Kiriburu as the‘Hill of Monsters’as it provides sanctum to an enormous number of wild monsters. Meghataburu, on the other hand, derives its name from the word‘Meghata’which means‘ Murk’ thus citing it as a‘Hill of Murk’, as it remains covered under layers of murk most time of the time. Meghataburu is also constantly addressed to as‘Cherrapunji of Odisha’
Kiriburu and Meghataburu have mainly three seasons, time-out, summer and Rainy.


Winter stretches over the months of November to February and the temperature varies from 10 to 15- degree centigrades, making the months of December and January extremely cold.
Summer ranges between March to June with a temperature rising from 30 to 40- degree centigrade. The month of April and May are the hottest.
The stormy season thresholds from the month of July and prevails till the month of August with an average downfall of 200-350 millimeters.
